Benefits for U.S. Citizens Living Abroad
Generally speaking U.S. citizens who are living abroad are eligible to continue receiving their disability payments unless you are living in a certain countries such as North Korea.
If you intend to be outside the United States for six consecutive months or more, you should use the Payments Outside the United States screening tool, which can be found on the SSA’s website.
